James is the wine advisor to one of the world's leading luxury hotel groups, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. He has won several awards from Wine Spectator for his lists for the JW Marriott Phuket Resort and Spa.

BC Government

The BC government's Liquor Distribution Branch contracts Fine Vintage as their Product Knowledge consultant.

Airlines

James is the consultant wine buyer for Qatar Airways (QR), ranked as one of the three "5 star airlines" in the world. QR has been honored by Global Traveler magazine as having the "Best Wine List in the Sky" (2010) and by the ultra prestigious "Cellars in the Sky" with awards for Best First Class red, Best Sweet/Fortified wine, and has also won Runner-Up for having the very best wine selection of any airline in the sky. Today, Qatar Airways offers a stunning selection of wines in all classes.

Winery

James has worked on several successful new winery development projects around the world, primarily in strategic planning.

Retail

James consults to various wine retailers and is responsible for selecting the wines.
