The WSET Level 3 Award in Wines is a highly respected qualification. It is an advanced course that will teach you the art of tasting to the extent that you can identify wines and quality levels in blind tastings.
You will go on a vinous adventure to every major region learning about a plethora of grape varieties, production methods and appellations. There are no prerequisites to take this course, but Level 2 is strongly recommended. Our Sensory Masterclass and 101 Series specialty classes are also excellent courses to take preparation for the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines.

TASTINGS & INSTRUCTION
At Fine Vintage we pride ourselves on the high quality of wines we pour. You’ll taste benchmark examples, and dozens of them. This is our signature.
You’ll be taught by true wine professionals. We provide you with extra classroom hours, practice exams, and pack our courses with tips on exam technique. Our engaging presentations are full of video clips featuring the leading winemakers in the world explaining first-hand their region and methods.
CERTIFICATION
At the end of the course there is an exam that consists of a blind tasting of 2 wines, a 50 question multiple choice paper and a 4 question multi-part short answer exam. The pass mark is 55% in all 3 papers. We have a very high pass rate for the tasting and multiple choice, and place extra emphasis on the short answer section.
Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate. The qualification is highly regarded by employers.

TASTING GLASSES
If you have taken a course with us before then please bring your Fine Vintage tasting glasses with you.
If you do not have our set of 6 tasting glasses you will need to purchase them at registration for $49. These are then yours to keep forever.
