MEET LISHA

Starting at an early age, Lisha was drawn to the tastes and smells that different wines exhibited, and her curiosity led her to explore wine at a deeper level. While initially studying architecture, she was drawn to the parallels that it and the structure of wine both share. They need a solid foundation, planning and preparation to be at their best. While previously not considering a career in wine, she began to aspire to a position as a Sommelier while working at Riley’s Steak and Fish. While at Riley’s, she immersed herself in the cellar, learning about how wine intertwines with the worlds of agriculture, history, geography, and politics. In 2023, she completed her WSET Level 3 with distinction and continues to grow and learn as she leads the wine team at Black and Blue Vancouver.
